In August 1973 at the national EANGUS conference in Des Moines, Iowa, it was decided to form a national auxiliary . The purpose of forming the auxiliary was to support EANGUS in all of their endeavors. Membership in the national organization was obtained by being a member of the state auxiliaries and only spouses of enlisted members of state enlisted associations belonging to EANGUS could be come members of the EANGUS Auxiliary.
In 1975 Kansas was added to the EANGUS Auxiliary as a state with an organized auxiliary, and received Charter #29 at the annual conference in 1982.
The original organizers of the EANGKS Auxiliary were Sharon K. Johnston, Jo B. Kinzie, Betty L. Miller and Myra Jane Duncan. They wrote the Kansas By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation signing them on 28 March 1982.by auxiliary and comments are closed.
